Watermark – Version 0.7
The new version of Watermark is available. You can download the zip-archive via this link. The Watermark-Plugin for Wordpress inserts automatically your logo or text in your pictures. You can watermark the pictures on two different ways.
- Insert watermark while a picture will be uploaded, or
- Insert watermarks on all chosen pictures from a directory on your web-server.
In the configuration-screen you can setup the position and the type of your watermark.
- Your graphic (.png-file) with transparent background or
- your text. You can setup the font, size, shadow, color and opaque-level.
The second way is the new one. This make possible to create a watermark when you use the other way to upload your pictures, then the standard wordpress upload function. So you can watermark pictures for myGallery or other wordpress plugins.

Hi Cla,
do you use the current watermark-plugin version 0.8? then your quastion is posted in version 0.6!
1. for watermarkin while upload is does the path not matter! because the watermarkin will be made “on the fly” before the picture will be save to filesystem.
2. if you want watermarking aftre on exist files, so you can change to the target directory and watermark pictures in current directory. so the path does not matter as in 1.
3. if you have problem with 2. so check the permissions to you directorys and files.
i hope my answer will help you!
Best wishes.
Marekki.

I have installed this plugin – which if you carefully follow the instructions is VERY easy.
The plugin appears to work just great, and once I have run it for a short while and checked that it all works as I expect it to I’ll be rushing over to PayPal to make you a donation!
Well done Buddy.
(You can see the effect on http://crn-web.com, by looking at the images. You will see a thumb tack in the top left corner and that is the effect I am using it for)

Installation and everything worked fine with wordpress 2.5. I only regret the search directory allways comes back to “…/plugins” and is not saved at the same time as the “backup” option, but this is peanuts.
Otherwise this is a useful tool that I recommend, despite I will NOT use it. Why ?
Again, I like the tool, but I was searching for an online watermarking tool in wordpress which keeps intact the EXIF informations of the file. Correct me if I am wrong, but for the moment in 0.8, EXIF are overwritten ?
If you dont mind about EXIF informations, This is a Great plugin!!

Thanks for this great plugin!
