I’ll tried it but it doesn’t seems to work with WP2.6 Files are created but no watermark stamp is printed on the image. Have to try another plugin. sorry

Hello, Marekki,
I installed your great plugin in 2.5, and I can see it.

I don’t see the option that says “default is watermark on each uploaded image.” I would like it to go on each image as I upload it. Do I have to insert the extra code you show?

Also, it takes too long to find the correct image when I use the directory. My uploads directory is buried in all my files, it looks like! My dir reads: blog/wp-content/plugins and then it ends. Can I somehow add uploads after that, to make that file stay in the path box, or stay on top in that page? I’m not even sure where the uploads file is, so I have to keep trying all of my folders the dir page lists.

More info:

Running with MM_Execute_WM($file,”); in /wp-admin/include/media.php only, the original is watermarked fine, and the resized has the shrunk down watermark from the original file. Using a 6 pixel font (http://kottke.org/plus/type/silkscreen/) and it’s too small to read.

OK. I know what you mean. The original file with the stamp will be resized and watermarked once more. This comes because of changes in the import function of WP 2.5. Sorry, but I don’t have any solution yet. Maybe you can set the watermark after the upload with the Watermark-Dir function.

Thanks for the quick response! When I use the above insertions, the original file is watermarked fine, but the resized image has a normal watermark, with a shrunk down watermark beneath it (taken from the original file but resized down). Any suggestions?

Hi Raoul,

you are right! (shit cut&paste!). you have to insert:

MM_Execute_WM($destfilename,”); for /wordpress/wp-includes/media.php and
MM_Execute_WM($file,”); for /wp-admin/include/media.php

Where is the forums signup? Anyway, instructions say MM_Execute_WM($destfilename,”); in both media.php files, but screen cap of your code editor shows MM_Execute_WM($file,”); for wp-admin/include/media.php. Both ways don’t work. Using “destfilename” for both and original image is not watermarked; using “file” for wp-admin/include/media.php and the scaled down image has watermark overlaid twice. I’m using text. Any suggestions? Thanks, Raoul
