New version : 0.9.3

After some questions about watermarking of original file and thumbnails I’ve decided to deploy this new version with two new options.

In “watermark”-Admin screen you can activate the options:

  • Watermark the original file
  • Watermark the thumbnails

to control which types of an image should be watermarked. None, only original image, only thumbnails or both of them.  This will help you in cases if you get more the one watermark, like watermark over watermark too.

PS. The next update will save your stempel.png file, so you don’t need to upload them after each update of Marekkis Watermark Plugin.

    sorry for my poor english, may i ask for a helping?
    I am facing a problem when using this plugin which in the admin panel, i can save the watermark setting and in the preview i can see my watermark onto the image

    but when i go media library or post something, all the upload images still same without watermark~
    i tried to re-install this plugin , but still can’t get it done~

    My wordpress version : 3.4.2

    Hi devilbat,

    sorry for the problems with my plugin. Did you checked one or both of the check-boxes below of the test picture? This is very important! If both check-boxes are not checked you will never watermark your picture. So try to set both of them, save the settings and upload a new picture for test.

    If this still not help, please check if you can watermark pictures, which are already on your system (Watermark-Dir) and write me your results. I’ll try to help you.

    Hi, thanks for your reply and help!

    I tried to check both checkbox but still can’t get watermark at new picture.
    And i also can’t use watermark-Dir to watermark picture too, it say successful but the picture still same.

    Is this plugin will crush if i use subdomain to install wordpress?
    Because i am install my wordpress in subdomain folder but i copy the index.php on the root, in order to view my wordpress directly in http://www.example.com.

    Hi Devilbat,

    sorry, but I have no idea whats going wrong. The settings looks right. What about permissions? Try to set WP_DEBUG to true in the config file a look at warnings or errors. Let me know if you find some warnings and i try to find the problem.
